Stomach Virus In Baby When Will My Baby Start Drinking Milk Again After A Stomach Virus?

When will my baby start drinking milk again after a stomach virus? - stomach virus in baby

My son is 12 months has had a stomach-intestinal virus, but he is now eating, drinking juice, Pedialyte, and nearly back to his old self. However, it is not milk or formula. How long will it take and should I worry?

It's probably just connect them with the upset stomach. Continue to provide daily, and I bet that as soon as it is quite normal to begin again. What is yogurt? Would you do it? The Yogurt is an important source of protein, fat, calcium, and mention in some cases, vitamin D is not - on the large tract as probiotics! Are the short term, a very good substitute for liquid milk (if they contain vitamin D, a - look at the label that contains at least 10-20% of the daily requirement of vitamin D)

Give him time, Come Around!

is different from the age of 12 months. the lady of 8 months of age should try to keep feeding the formula because the baby relies on them to eat. the age of 12 months, she received a substantial amount of food from the juice and solid food intake, and may spend as much time as necessary, without milk .. try to introduce cheese and yogurt, available for example on the abdomen to get to new milk (milk and meat are the most difficult things to digest in the stomach). It will take more time to complete, but not causing much damage, a small amount of time, esp now becoming an evil stomach virus.

Drinking more important to him than the milk / formula. When my daughter was sick in 8 months, said his doctor, should I stop until they wanted to eat solids, but to keep feeding her formula. I see a doctor or a nurse to advise if they continue for more than a few days.
A word of warning: Do not be tempted to add the taste of drinking milk, he does not need extra sugar / colors / flavors / etc and can be difficult to stop, if you have a preference for them!

Your stomach can not leave all viruses irritants no longer, although the material would have died. Try the 2% milk or soy.

Ask your doctor or nurse. Call to speak to a hospital, a nurse about it.
